The photographer isn't listed, and I'm not sure who holds copyright.

I may not have a lot of money to donate or connections that could get me down there, but the people of Haiti are in my prayers. It's bittersweet to see all of the international teams rush to help these people, but I think this is even better, seeing the natives of Haiti step up and help each other. It's sad that it often takes a disaster to bring people together like this.

I think everyone knows how to text-donate to the Red Cross for the Haiti fund by now, but just in case. Text 'HAITI' to 90999 to automatically donate 10$.

beautiful drawing! The people of Haiti are in my prayers too. If you're interested in travelling down there to help, Partners in Development (ww.pidonline.org) is a great Christian organization to volunteer with, I'm leaving soon on my 3rd trip with them, and anyone can sign up!

Thank you! I've thought about going down, but I'm not sure how much help I'd be. If I feel really led to go, I know a few churches that've sent people. ^_^

If you feel led to go, DO IT! Even though you may not feel you're going to be a huge help, God will use you in ways you won't even realize. I encourage you, go for it!! I'm leaving in 2 days myself for Haiti, I'll spend 4 months there volunteering with the organization I mentioned. Best of luck to you!
